Following from the ban of bikes in Black Hawk, Colorado, St. Charles County in Missouri is considering banning bicycles on all roads without a shoulder. The plan has been proposed by County Councilman Joe Brazil. After an apparently heated discussion at Monday night’s council meeting the council have decided to delay, to consider expanding the scope of the ban! Brazil revealed his staggering short sightedness when he told STLToday “You’re going 55 (mph) and there’s absolute limited sight distance, you come around a corner and come upon a bike in seconds and you have to react.” It not rocket science but the speed limit is just that, a limit, and car drivers have a responsibility to lower their speed to suit how far they can see ahead. The problem isn’t removed by taking bikes off the road, you are still left with car drivers driving too fast for the road conditions. What if someone has broken down, or there is an animal on the road? Is Brazil to legislate against that too?Post your comments and let us and everyone who reads this know your thoughts.

Matt Breida injury newsBreida missed some of Sunday’s second half while being evaluated for a concussion. He returned to the game, though, suggesting he was cleared and should be good to go for Week 8 against the Panthers.Week 8 DFS Lineups: Y! Cash | Y! GPP | FD Cash | FD GPP | DK Cash | DK GPPTevin Coleman had 20 carries Sunday to Breida’s eight, a split wide enough to show it would’ve been a Coleman edge even if Breida hadn’t been hurt. He remains in FLEX consideration for Week 8. Let’s try not to get confused in this running back injury update. Kerryon Johnson and David Johnson are injured, and Kerryon’s injury makes Ty Johnson a popular waiver wire pickup for Week 8. David Johnson’s backup is Chase Edmonds, so that’s less confusing — you should also add Edmonds if you can. In addition, the crowded San Francisco backfield saw Matt Breida injured Sunday, although he returned to the game and should be back as part of the 49ers’ committee in Week 8.For updates on Adam Thielen and Will Fuller, click here; for more on Matt Ryan’s ankle, go here; for updates on Alvin Kamara and James Conner, click here; for the latest on DeSean Jackson, Davante Adams, and other injured WRs, go here; for more on Drew Brees, Cam Newton, and Mason Rudolph, click here. Johnson exited the Lions’ game in the first quarter with a knee injury. He returned to the sideline later and rode the stationary bike for a few minutes before spending the rest of the game on the sideline in a knee brace. Ty Johnson replaced Kerryon on early downs ahead of J.D. McKissic.Ty Johnson didn’t show off any efficiency in his playing time, rushing 10 times for 29 yards and catching four passes for 28 yards. He’s known as a speedy, explosive player. The rookie from Maryland is a top waiver wire pickup with Kerryon’s Week 8 availability to play the Giants (who just were gashed by Chase Edmonds) in doubt.WEEK 8: Waiver wire | FAAB planner | Trade values | Snap countsDavid Johnson injury updateThis was a weird situation. Johnson (ankle, back) practiced last week in some capacity, was active Sunday, got the Cardinals’ first carry and then wasn’t heard from again as Edmonds ran for 126 yards and three touchdowns. Kliff Kingsbury told reporters Sunday that that usage was by design. Fantasy owners of Johnson were not happy after Arizona apparently used him as a decoy — albeit a decoy who got the first carry. We’re confused, too. But with Johnson obviously not fully healthy, Edmonds should be snatched up on every waiver wire. We have no idea how much, if at all, Johnson will play in Week 9.
